Voyageur Canoe Outfitters at the end of the Gunflint Trail


Voyageur Canoe Outfitters is located at the end of Minnesota’s Gunflint Trail approximately 56 miles from Grand Marais, Minnesota.  We are located on the Seagull River between Saganaga & Seagull Lakes with direct access into the BWCA and Quetico Park. The Gunflint Trail is a Scenic Highway that travels through the Superior National Forest and provides access to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

The drive from Duluth, Minnesota to Grand Marais, Minnesota provides spectacular scenery as you travel next to Lake Superior. Make sure to spend time enjoying the beauty of your surroundings as you travel to Voyageur.

How to Find Voyageur Canoe Outfitters

From the West take Highway 2 from Grand Forks to Duluth.

From the East take Highway 94 to Eau Claire head north on 53 to Duluth.

From the South take Highway 35 to Duluth.

Then, from Duluth follow Highway 61 North 110 miles to Grand Marais. Then from Grand Marais head NW on County Road 12, " the Gunflint Trail," 56 miles to County Road 83, "Sag Lake Trail," right or north 1 mile to Voyageur Canoe Outfitters driveway.
